Unveiling of a Menno Baars Painting at JFK International Airport

New York

On Tuesday, June 3, 2008, Alain Maca, president of JFK IAT Terminal 4, unveiled the painting that JFK IAT received as a gift from Eric Eichler, chairman and founder of LCOR Inc, a national real estate developer and partner of the JFK IAT consortium.  This work of art was created by the Dutch ‘action’ painter, Menno Baars and auctioned at the 26th Peter Stuyvesant Ball 2007. Terminal 4 has a unique selection of sculptures and paintings by artists from all over the world. Designed to enhance the passenger’s experience, the artwork makes a bold statement about the Terminal and exciting city in which it resides.
